Der Supalife e.V. vergibt in Kooperation mit der Annette und Wolfgang Haupt Stiftung zwei sechswöchige Künstler:innenresidenzen, jeweils mit anschließender Ausstellung in den Räumen des Supalife Kiosk.
Termin Sommer: 13.7. bis 23.8.2026, Vernissage 22.8.2026
Termin Herbst: 28.9. bis 9.11.2026, Vernissage 8.11.2026
Wir möchten mit diesem Stipendium die Siebdruckkunst fördern und den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit geben, sich für den Förderzeitraum ausschließlich auf die eigene Arbeit fokussieren zu können.
Unser sechswöchiges Artist-in-Residence-Programm richtet sich an professionell arbeitende Künstler:innen (aus der EU, plus Schweiz), die sich in ihrem Schaffensprozess durch das Medium Siebdruck ausdrücken und eigenständig in der zur Verfügung stehenden Siebdruckwerkstatt arbeiten und drucken können. Während der Zeit des Stipendiums besteht Residenzpflicht. In Berlin und direkter Umgebung lebende Artists können wir leider nicht zulassen.
Die druckgrafischen Arbeiten, die während des Stipendiums entstehen, werden anschließend in einer Einzelausstellung in den Räumen des Supalife Kiosk für eine Laufzeit von vier bis sechs Wochen ./. präsentiert.
Im Rahmen der Residency wird den teilnehmenden Künstler:innen kostenfrei eine Unterkunft zur Verfügung gestellt. ./. Außerdem wird die Nutzung einer voll ausgestatteten Siebdruckwerkstatt ./. mit Arbeitsplatz gewährleistet. Es kann nur mit wasserlöslichen Farben gedruckt werden. Eine Einführung in die Siebdruckwerkstatt wird ermöglicht; selbstständiges Arbeiten im Siebdruckverfahren ist Voraussetzung.
Teilnehmende erhalten eine finanzielle Unterstützung in Höhe von 2.800 Euro als Aufwandsentschädigung. An- und Abreisekosten sind darin eingeschlossen.
Die Nutzung der Siebdruckwerkstatt und die Unterkunft sind kostenfrei.
Ein Materialbudget in Höhe von 400 Euro für Papier, Farben und sonstiges Material wird zur Verfügung gestellt.
Als Bewerbungsunterlagen benötigen wir maximal zehn digitale Arbeitsproben und eine kurze Vita mit Ausstellungsverzeichnis, sowie eine Konzeptidee für die abschließende Ausstellung im Supalife Kiosk in Form eines kurzen Textes.

Screen Print Artist in Residency

In cooperation with the Annette and Wolfgang Haupt Foundation, Supalife e.V. is offering a six-week artist residency in Berlin in the summer of 2026 (July 13, 2026 – August 21, 08.2026) and in fall 2026 (09.28.2026–11.07.2026) in Berlin, followed by a one-month exhibition at the Supalife Kiosk.
With this scholarship, we want to promote the art of screen printing and give the scholarship holder the opportunity to focus exclusively on their own work during the funding period.
Our six-week Artist-in-Residence program is aimed at professional artists who express themselves through the medium of screen printing in their creative process and work independently in the screen printing workshop provided. Residency is mandatory during the scholarship period.
The print works created during the scholarship will then be presented to an art-loving audience in a solo exhibition at the Supalife Kiosk for a period of four to six weeks.
As part of the residency, participating artists will be provided with free accommodation. The accommodation offers a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, use of a fully equipped screen printing workshop is guaranteed, including a DIN A0 screen printing table and workspace. An introduction to the screen printing workshop is provided; independent work in screen printing is a prerequisite.
We are happy to assist participants in procuring materials and can draw on our excellent contacts in the screen printing scene. A materials budget of €400 for paper, inks, and other materials will be provided.
Participants will receive financial support of €2,800 as an expense allowance. Use of the screen printing workshop, accommodation, and equipment is free of charge. In addition, a travel allowance of €300 will be provided.
As application documents, we require a maximum of ten digital work samples, a short CV, and an exhibition list, as well as a concept draft for the final exhibition at Supalife Kiosk in the form of a short text.
